modifying cabinets and counter top
Renos to my old house are still on the go. I removed some base cabinets and a counter top and want to reuse one of them and replecate two new ones.
The cabinets are shaker style. The boxes are 5/8 melamine with maple veneer. The door panels are 1/4 sheet maple with a mdf core.
Questions:
How do I cut the 3/4 veneer strips for the facing and what adhesive should I use?
How do I get the edges of the veeneer corners so invisable?
I’ll ask about the counter tops in a separete post.
Thanks,
Barry

Are you reducing the depth of the cabinet - can you make the cuts from the back ?
You can buy maple iron on veneer 3/4 wide - very easy to use. Trim with a razor knife.
