So, I’m thinking about tackling a Morris Chair. Folks on the forum have been great suggesting plans/designs. I’ve a somewhat general idea of what I’m going to beg/borrow or steal if I build one. But… I’ve no clue/ comfort with upholstering a couple of cushions (and, duh, a footstool cushion.). I’ve watched some of the FWW upholstery videos…. I’m still not comfortable. Looking for leather and I’m guessing I’m going to have as much/more tied up in cushions as I’ll have in oak. SOBEIT. Anyone got a recommendation for on online custom upholstery shop so I can wrap my head around the front to back cost of this punch list project?

Your right to not be comfortable with it. Good upholstery is a difficult skill. Less than really really good looks really low life.. But why online? I farm work like that out but person to person. I have an idea and talk it through. It becomes a collaboration. Nobody do that kind of work where you live?
Pants is right. When I made mine I dropped one of them off at the shop with the skins. They asked me to come and sit after the cushions were made / before they were covered to get them perfect. No way I would kludge-DIY the cushions after all that went into tbe chairs.
