Back in the early 1990’s, I purchased a Multico PM20 benchtop mortiser from Garret Wade. It has served me well through the years.
I eventually wore out the tooling that came with it and have tried a number of alternative bits/chisels since. It appears that Garret Wade no longer carries this line.
Is there anyone out there who has successfully been in Contact with Multico? They have a website that appears to be current and I have tried reaching them via their web-based email. So far, No Response from them.
Alternatively, are there recommended tooling sources of high quality Bits/Chisels? I have read that the current Powermatic line of bits/chisels are of high quality but have yet to give them a try.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A bit late, but I have this moticer. In UK Axminster Power Tools have supplied me with bits. I think I bought mine in the 1980s. In those days they recommended I buy the more expensive English bits. They have lasted me decades.
Thank you for the reply. I was not aware of the UK Axminster Power Tools outlet and found them to be very interesting. It looks like their bits and chisels are from Japan and have a chisel shank size of 3/4 or 13/16 inches... too large for the older Multico.
The mortisers they offer look great.
Check the specs but these should work. They are high quality.
I remember when your mortiser was introduced at the Atlanta show, a real game changer.
