my daughter wants a crescent hall table
I used to hang around in here quite a bit, but have not visited in some time. Work does that to a person. Anyway, I am looking for some help/ideas. My daughter wants me to build her a crescent hall table in queen anne style. My problem is that I can’t seem to find any good examples to work from. I don’t really need a set of plans, just some good pictures with some of the dimensions so I can build her something similar. I am not turning up my nose at plans, I would certainly be interested in any good ones anyone knows about. I don’t think she cares if it is a three leg or four leg design – just a nice classical look. Thanks for any help.

Fishman,
I have attached a scan taken from the book Master Craftsman of Newport, showing a card table from the Queen Anne/Chippendale period. While this is not exactly what you were asking for, it might give you some ideas. This was the first thing that came to my mind, but I have a fairly large library of furniture books, so I may think of something else.

Rob, thanks for the reply and the picture. I think this is close to what she wants. She probably does not want the carved legs, which is good since my carving skills are not up to that level. Anyway, I think this is a good start. Thanks again.
