Nope to both. It's a whole different piece I picked up from Bellforest.com Also, I don't stain anything but it's a fair question.

You should've heard her husband. He yelled in my ear for 10 minutes because he couldn't paint one side white. He couldn't grasp me wet sanding with Tried 'n True Danish Oil.
I told him I could make it paintable if he was willing to shell out $250. He said he'd burn it first. What a nice green fire that'd make:)

You see, Hotdog, Rob and I were talking about an earlier project. You spoke before you knew what you were talking about. Then again, you probably would paint a solid Gabon ebony tabletop white.
