My new-to-me Delta DJ-20 and other tools

Hi everyone – I had a post a couple days ago about buying a Delta DJ-20 jointer. Unfortunately, it sold before I could get to it. However, another one popped up in an auction 6 hours away last week, and I couldn’t ignore it! A small construction business had purchased a few machines new (in the 80’s) and only used them a handful of times over the years and was looking to make some space in their shop.
I ended up picking up a Delta DJ-20, a 3HP Powermatic Model 100 Planer, a 3HP Delta dust collection setup, and a nice height-adjustable outfeed roller – All for about $1500. I was only going for the jointer ($750), but the shop owner gave me a deal that felt too good to decline. While the blades on both machines look pristine, he also gave me 2 extra sets for each.
Here’s some photos of these latest additions. Let me know how you think I did!

Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
I am so jealous that sounds like a steal.
Congrats, you did well
The DJ-20 is a reliable machine. Usually very well machined and solid overall. I was impressed with the large sturdy handles compared to my old Jet jointer. If I was shopping for a new one, I'd get a Laguna JX8 with Sheartec II head. But for now my old DJ-20 is running good.
Right place, right time -- nice catch!
Outstanding luck! Santa came early. Merry Christmas.
Great haul, great price. You'll never need to upgrade these, unless you want to install segmented cutter heads.
