This is my second project since I started woodworking. It is a copy of an L. & J. G. Stickley #1292 footstool from the Great Book of Shop Drawings for Craftsman Furniture by Lang. I had a few issues, one of which I fixed by making an incorrect mortise into a through mortise and tenon, but overall I’m happy for a newbie. I did the faux leather drop in top using staples. (I don’t sew.)

Nice work!
Very nice. And fixing mistakes is a very necessary skill.
It looks great.
Looks good with the through tenon!
Pity there is no 'like' or 'upvote' feature on this forum.
