What a week, I bought a new 3hp dust collector (4 bag style), a new PC oscillating spindle sander and all the attachments, a PC cordless router and tomorrow I pick up my new Delta X5 18-36 thickness sander. The DC is the only thing that has seen a lot of use yet but the router is pretty sweet so far. It lasts fairly long between charges and is not cumbersome to use. The spindle sander is going to be getting a good work out over the next few weeks when I start the finish sanding on my latest project. Now I have to buy something for the wife to offset my purchases. As my buddy told me it is easier to plead for forgiveness then to beg for permission.

That collection of tools will certainly lighten up the old pocketbook!
I am especially intrigued with the PC cordless router. These things seem to be coming hot and fast from more and more mfgrs, yet I am mystified how these toools would be used -- unless you're doing routing on a roof or in the backwoods without a generator.
What was it, if you don't mind the question, that moved you to buy it? As I recall, they sell for around $300 -- the price of two corded routers.
To tell you the truth I went to the hardware store to get a drill bit seen the router sitting on a clearance table for about 2/3's off. The main reason I bought it was I have done a lot of minor home reno work hanging doors and the like and figured it would be easier than lugging around cords to mortise the hinges.
