Just read a post by Nancy Hiller from about a month ago about her incredibly courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. I just wanted to tell you all to go back to that post from early March any time you feel life is handing you too much. I’ve been fighting chronic kidney disease since 2014. I had colon cancer surgery April 11 2019. My pain from the kidney issues is constant but quite frankly I force myself to live with it every day. Find her post. Find inspiration and strength. In this time of our lives when so much in our world is a mess, we find refuge in our shops and in our craft. For all of you who work through whatever it is every day be it physical or psychological or emotional pain, do not despair. Never despair. God bless us all.

Such a wicked disease. From the time of diagnosis to death was less than ten months for my 45 year old sister.
I have so much respect and admiration for Nancy because in all of her writings she tells us the truth. About her process. About the challenges of her business. And now about her disease. I admire and appreciate her so much.
