Hi Matt,
Great job on the site! Since becoming a member a couple of weeks ago, I practically have not visited any other website. You need to come up with a cool name for hopeless junkies like me…
One quick comment: When I try to navigate back to a multi-page article listing after viewing the details of an article, I always get taken back to page 1 of the listing even if I selected the article from another page. A minor usability issue.
Thanks and keep up the good work!
Chris

Chris,
Thanks for the feedback. I'll start thinking about possible nicknames.
As for the usability issue. We had to make a tough technical decision that has ended up creating the inconvenience you mentioned. To make the site operate faster we make use of page caching; when you visit a page it caches the data so that you don't have to wait for it to reload if you visit the page again. The way caching is used for multi-page listings causes you to get sent back to page one.
When I'm browsing through any of the listing pages on our site and want to avoid losing my place, I open the page in a new window.
Not ideal but the best we can do for now.

Matt,
Thanks for the suggestion. I totally agree that speed weighs much more in this case. Shift+Click it is from now on!
Thanks,
Chris
