I’ve got the Dewalt DW610 router. It’s got a 6″ diameter baseplate clearly designed to hold guide bushings. Problem is, I can’t find any. Anyone know if a competitive make of bushings will fit? If so, which ones and where can I find then online? My local options are nil.
Thanks
Dave

Dave: The guide bushings are available from WOODCRAFT. They are shown on page 32 of the current catalog. ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬PAT¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
*Ah, if only I had a Woodcraft catalog! Then again I may have an old one buried in a box somewhere. I'm suffering tool withdrawal since my catalogs aren't keeping up with my moves. Apparently the new owners of my old house prefer to keep my interesting catalogs instead of forwarding them on to me. Oh well! ;-)Thank for the lead. I'll start digging.Dave
*Dave; Tou can order from Woodcraft on line. The address is http://www.woodcraft.comThese are generic bushings and will fit most routers with the proper adapter.I have the DeWalt 625 and have no problem. As an after thought,I would buy the brass set. They do not require a wrench to tighten.¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬PAT¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
*Thanks, Pat. I did look up http://www.woodcraft.com, and couldn't tell from their info or pictures if any of the bushing sets would work with my DeWalt. We have lots of porter cable routers at the university, and their bushing sets do not work with my dewalt router base. I know. I've tried. So I ordered woodcraft's catalog from their website. I can wait. Hopefully it will be more specific than the website as to what bushing set will fit my router. Thanks again,Dave
*Dave:These template guides have a critical diameter of 1.187".iF your adapter has a 1_3/16 dia hole, the standard guide will fit. PAT
*I have a DW610, and it takes any bushings that fit a PC 690. Any standard set of bushings should work. I have PC and Freud sets, and they both fit just fine.
