I picked up these scraps from a cabinet making company. No clue what they are but I’ve sorted them out and numbered them. Any help would be great!

Look up the US Forest Service. They will identify up to 5 different wood samples, at no charge.
Not a terrible idea but they only allow 3 per household per year and I have at least 6 types I can see differences in. Plus they want larger pieces than what I have. All I really need ate educated guess...and I'm not educated enough to tell the difference.
woodidentification.net might be able to help you out...
This is extremely helpful!
They allowed me five samples two years ago but if they are down to three, well that what friends are for. I remember them accepting at least one very small sample, smaller than requested.
My best guesses:
1, 2 - Cherry
3, 5 - Likely Cherry
4, 6 - Ash or flat sawn White Oak
7 - The smaller pieces look like Cherry, the larger one like Knotty Alder
8, 9, 10 - Knotty Alder
