I’m trying to design a 4′ x 2′ x 2′ box with one pivioting bin inside, any ideas? This will be used to keep shoes out of the saw dust in the garage.
Thanks, Dick

Hello dick38 ,
Sounds pretty basic , like a clothes hamper ? One way is to make the bin and attach a door to the face and hinge the door at the bottom. You may need to make some form of a stop , a block of wood or even a chain that limits the front from flipping down all the way. Once in a large wardrobe unit I made, I put large drawers across the bottom . one of them was used for shoes. Instead of a tilting bin , would a full extention drawer work out ?
good luck dusty
