I’m looking for some approx 14″ metal rings for foot rests for some bar stools I’m building. I would idealy like them to be brushed stainless to match the harware and appliances. Any ideas on where to locates some would be appreciated.
Thanks, Brian

Brian, try this: http:www.thomasregisterdirectory.com/tubing/stainless_steel_tubing_0019065_1.html
Jamie's in a teaching mood this morning. I put in the slashes, made it clickable:

Better yet, use the little "world" icon up there: click here No distortion of margins that way.

Several manufacturers of ss tubing Couldn't you open the link? Stein
Stein, the link you posted wasn't "clickable" because the http://www. part was typed only as http:www (see how the first one is blue and underlined (clickable) the second one is not.
I was also showing how a very long URL can screw up the margins in our Knots frame, but if you use the link icon up top (A globe with a chain link in it) and fill in the pop-up box, you get a clickable phrase. Sorry, I'm not making much sense, 'cause I'm hurrying. Drop me an email if you want.forestgirl Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>) you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks Stein,
I was hoping made some one might know of a supplier that might have somethng like this as a "stock" type item. I knew it was a long shot. If I can't find anything I'll go this route. I'm sure it won't be cheap to get just 4 made.
