I have a magazine that has some nice looking saw horses you can build. I believe the magazine I saw it was called "woodworking magazine". I will try to scan them and send you the link or just tell you the exact name and number of the publication. Good luck
OK I just called to confirm the name and the magazine is called 101 best ever workshop projects and is from the editors from WOOD magazine. I just got it about 2 weeks ago, so go out ang get yours. If you have any problems let me know.

I'm a person who likes to build that kind of stuff, but I bought a pair of plastic heavy duty Storehorses instead. I like them so much I bought another pair. Save your building time for something you can't buy as good as you can make.
Are you opposed to spending about $15 each for your sawhorses? If not, you might want to try something similar to these. I have some, except I'm pretty sure they have the hinged cross-supports part way down the sides (forming an "A"). A 2x4 screwed to the top gives a sacrificial surface, they're lightweight and easy fold up and to hang on the wall.
Just a thought.
