I want to make a pedal powered soapbox car with my 8 year old son. He has recently showed much interest in working in my shop with me and I want to encourage it as much as possible. Can you help me to find any plans for building a pedal powered soapbox car? Any direction that you can provide in finding plans will be very much appreciated.

In Wood Magazine 115 June issue they had Plans for a sidewalk speedster (aka Irish Mail) its a had powered unit - Willy
*Thanks Willy,I just ordered that back issue of Wood Magazine. I haven't seen a picture of the Sidewalk Speedster yet, so if you come across any other ideas on how to build or otherwise incorporate the drive mechanism and the steering I would appreciate your passing them on to me.Will
