I need a catalog/on-line source for a large variety of small knobs and feet for boxes. I say large variety, because the knobs and feet I’m trying to find are not your general, run-of-the-mill little doo-dahs. Can anyone help? TIA!!

Have you looked at Lee Valley, their new hardware catalog just came in the mail. They do make a few knobs and feet for small boxes.
Another thing you can do is turn down purchased brass hardware to a new shape using files while the piece is spun on a lathe or drill press, it is relatively easy. On a lathe, with a tool rest, you can even use chisels to do the cutting.

Lee Valley's wood stuff is very ordinary. That catalog is more for the metal stuff.
I need multiples, in wood, for a small production run. Turning my own or modifying something is not an option.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
Jamie, try http://www.hafele.com. Their catalogue is a book with plus 1400 pages-might have something for you.

Jamie,
Have you looked at http://www.vandykes.com ? They have a wide selection in their catalog.

Nope, pretty ordinary stuff. Several different types of woods, but pretty standard designs. Thanks though.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
