I recently started on two cord wood walls made up of a variety of species, the large piece are mostly ash. What would be a good finish that highlights the grain and uniqueness of the wood without darkening the wood? The wood as it stands is raw, sanded to 120 grit.

The clearest finish that will change the existing color the least is a water based polyurethane.
I'd love to see photos of the finished wall, it's a very cool look.
Tung oil will work, also
Thanks all for the suggestions, I had someone suggest Miniwax polycrylic as a top coat. Anyone have any experience with it? Also, should I use a grain filler before the poly?
That's a good choice..I have used it with good results many times. I would not fill it and would spray it if you can. Great look!
