Thanks Jeff, I tried all three and many others with no luck. They all have Shaker pegs and some have mug pegs but I am L Looking for a smooth tapered handle. I do not have a lathe to make them. Glen
You don't need a lathe. Take a piece of wood, say 1.25 inch x 1.25 inch x 10 inches. Drill a hole for the tang or shaft. Shape the square shape with a spokeshave or drawknife so it fits your hand comfortably. As you shape, adjust so the handle will be in line with the hole you first drilled. Cut the handle to the desired length (the extra length makes it easier to manipulate during shaping). Finish is optional.
Many a jig can be made for a drill press 'lathe', if you get a little creative.

They can also be done with a router using a simple plywood jig, do you have access to ANY tools?

Thanks for your reply's. It would not be worth my time to make these handles. I may be able to modify a simple spindle into two handles but what I was really hoping for was a supply to buy some. They probably cost in the neighborhood of $3. I would have to knock out 8 to 10 of these an hour to make it worth it. I'll keep looking. I googled it and was hoping for a boat parts supply but still no luck. Someone has to make handles for rolling pins.
