Hello everyone,

I’m new here, just found you …. and glad I have, it looks like a great place!

My husband and I have a small business, designing and constructing small scale cupboards, cabinets and other pieces. We also build full size cupboard shelves.

All of these items are designed by me, and built by Jim, and then I finish them. We have a web site that just opened yesterday.

What I would like opinions on, is what you think of our items, and our pricing. Pricing is always a very hard area for anyone, and was very hard for us to decide together. Jim knows how much time and wood goes into each piece, but I want to make sure they are affordable for many, not just a few …… as this will be a much needed second income for us.

I have some health problems, that prevent me from working … and so I spend my time marketing and promoting our business.

Jim uses honey pine – maple and red oak. He also works full time, so has only evenings and week-ends to spend on the projects… but he is 53, and would be willing to take early retirement if the business picked up enough to allow him to do that.

Please go take a look around, and let me know what you think …. positive and negative. 🙂
