Do any of you have any experience with the new Craftsman hybrid table saw? All the reviews sound promising, but I am having trouble pulling the trigger on something from Sears. In the store, it looks good, but, of course, there’s no way to try it out. I care more about the solid trunnion and Beisemeyer fence than I do about the fact that the handles are plastic. My other option locally is the Delta hybrid for $100 more. But, in that case, I keep hearing that Delta’s quality is not what it used to be. Any suggestions?

Hi Bob - The feedback from users has been strongly positive. I've had the 22124 for nearly a year, and found it to be an excellent upgrade from a top rated contractor saw. The Delta has many parts in common with the Craftsman, but the trunnions are different and the Delta has narrower wings.

Thanks. Does anybody have anything to say about the Delta 36-717 hybrid?
