   Do an archive search on either "drum sander" or "performax" and you'll find several useful discussions on these items. I've contributed to several over the past few years.

   I went though the same decision process as you about a year and a half ago.  I too looked at the 16-32 and Delta.  I went with the Delta and have been happy with the decision.  I have used it quite a bit and mine has not required any adjustments. I Have used it for small stuff and wide panels.  It removes small amounts at a time. Dont plan on removing large quantities of wood at once.  I use the thickness planer for that. It produces HUGE amounts of dust. A dust collector is required. If you do go with the Delta, I will pass alnong a tip that someone gave me.  Go to woodcraft and buy their lockable casters and ad them to the metal frame. It makes moving the thing a dream.  I pull it out when needed lock the wheels in place, and bingo ready to go. When done, I roll it out of the way. It's a cheap addition that is worth it.  Any other specific questions let me know.
