Mr. John,

I built your New Fangled Workbench from your article.  I didn’t realize how much I would use it, WOW. I use this thing Daily. I built it because I couldn’t spend $300.00 on vises for a typical workbench not to mention the wood.  I did change one thing on the back side I glued up 2x4s in a butcher block design length-wise. This gave me a solid flat surface to use chisels on. Plus I made it a little taller. I you would like to see I can e-mail pictures.
