Does anyone have any information on a new line of circular saw blades from Freud called Avanti? I have seen this line at my local Lowes but can’t seem to find any information about them on the web. Not even on Freud’s web page at freudtools.com. Several years ago Freud introduced the Diablo line aimed at general contractors and framers. I wonder who the Avanti line is for?

Have one on a 10" compound slide saw for general purpose work (labled "fine cutoff") . It's OK, but can't hold a candle to the comparably configured industrial model LU85. That one stays put aside for when I'm doing exacting work in hardwoods, the Avanti stays in the saw for everyday and the Neanderthal abuse that I have to put up with from others that drift in and out of my shop at work. Sigh....
Jim,
Avanti is just the new name for the TK Series of blades that we have offered for many years. Nothing else has changed, not even the item numbers.
