I just got a pine butcher’s block, it is going to be used mainly for preparing baking stuff(lots of kneading). What type of oil(must be food safe) should I use to protect the block?

There is a oil that is made to be used on items that food will be serve on ect. I cant remember the name of it but it is sold at Rocklers Woodworking, woodcraft I wish i could be of more help. Maybe check out their websites and they'll have it listed.
