Just got a subscription offer for a new magazine called American Router. Anyone have the first issue and what did you think ……… is it worth subscribing?

Looks like not too many folks have subscribed. There is so much info out there on routers already. At least a small article in some way pertaining to routers in almost every issue of all the current mags. There is much on the inter-net too. I'm not sure how you could devote an entire issue every month or two just to the router without duplicating info over and over. ha..ha..

Funny thing, the advertisement was sitting in my mail pile when I came into the store today. I agree with Sarge -- a router-focused magazine doesn't seem viable. There are many, many books available. Seems like the mag would be there mostly to promote new and "better" gizmos, bells and whistles. Even being the tool junkie that I am, a router-dedicated magazine would be just way too much emphasis on the tool and not enough on the woodworking for me! [Can't believe I said that, LOL!]
