   That's not a bad saw and that is a good price.

   Now you need to put on a stand with stops and fences so it complete.

   I see a lot of people get a good saw only to work off the floor with it.

   I also bought LS 1013 at HD on clearance for $375.

   There is currently a promotion to get a free 14.4 volt

   Dang, I am jealous!

   All of the Home Depots around here sold out before I could get one so I ended up paying about $100 more than you did.

   It is a great saw.

   I have cut about 1,000,000 lineal ft of trim with the two of mine.  I also own two 12" makitas and one Dewalt for larger stock, all of them good.  You should have no problems.  Stable, sturdy, and easy to use.  Like alot of Makita products.

   yea my HD wouldnt offer price matching with other HD stores.  Oh well.  Amazon has free shipping for 479 on the LS1013.
