Just got the flyer in the mail for the 28V Milwaukee cordless stuff. They’re even offering a cordless porta-band…..supposed to have twice the power of a similar 18volt, the hammer drill is stating 600 inch pounds of torque…..anybody else heard anything?? Looks like a good line from my limited reading…
If you aren’t one of the one’s I’m talking about,you shouldn’t have any complaints….

Milwaukee's new battery technology seems very promising ---- just bring lots of money.
Our manager and asst. mgr have seen them and played with them. They were pretty impressed, enough to place a $25,000 order.
The battery will run the tool at full torque right up until the end, there is no charge memory with them and they are lighter than the 18v.
But bring money. Looks like the hammer/screw gun will retail around $380 or higher.
From what the guys have told me, they are really something to handle. I'm going to look real hard at the screw gun and the handsaw.
There's an impact gun, screw gun, circular saw, porta bandsaw and sawzall.
