Ever since new registration came in, I’ve had nothing but grief trying to log in.
I have re-registered and successfully logged in & have checked the little box for automatic log-in next time. Next time, I have to completely fill in my e-mail address & secret password. Now I get a message that tells me ‘an error has occured’ & I cannot log in. If I go to Taunton Home page, through woodworking to discussion, miraculasly (sp?) , up pops a sign that says ‘log-in is successful’ & I’m in, as my present user name.
This is getting to be a real pita. What gives?

did you forget to use the secret handshake and decoder ring? ;-) aloha, mike
I have the same problem, it's been going on for weeks. Stangely I have two computers,my original desk top and a new laptop connected wirelessly together. I can still get on using my desktop but not my laptop. I tried saying I forgot my password and tried to answer my secret question but that didn't work either. I reached their web site and they sent me me password or at least the answer to the secret question ( this is starting to sound like one of those old TV shows) it seems when typing in the name of my High School,I had hit an additional key which I didn't realize. Still did not work. Called the magazine and spoke to a womwn who checked it out and told me that my account had been canceled but she reinstated me and I would have no more trouble. Sooooooo Itried to log in and quess what it rejected me. I am obviously using my desktop. So much for a new and improved system.

I suggest 3 things: clear your browser cache as it may be taking you back through an already rejected rout and make sure your cookies are enabled when you relog in and then, of course, dont use the "log out" button. good luck. aloha, mike
Hello xxxx,
are you still having problems with the log in? Have you tried clearing cache and cookies as suggested below? That has resolved this problem for most others users that I have worked with. The other item is to make sure that you don't log out just close the browser and that way the system will remember you. Let me know whats happening. -Mark

Mark,
Haven't been able to try lately, but same old stuff to get on again tonight. Am leaving for a week of moose hunting tomorrow but will get my techie son to try the suggestions when I return. I can turn my computer on and off and do routine processes, but glitches like this........?
Thanks,

You can reach Mark directly at [email protected]
In the meantime, what are your security settings? Well, first of all, what browser and operating system are you using? This is info Mark will need.
