I am considering the purchase of a Grizzly 3 hp table saw. I am a garage shop woodworker of moderate skill and do not need a cabinetmakers table saw for the furniture I build. More importantly is space considerations. The saw needs to be mobile for storage. For the cost Grizzly seems to be the best value and the reviews I have seen are all favorable. Any comments or advice would be welcome.

Which Grizzly model saw are you considering?
Features vs. Cost vs. Space
I don't own a Grizzly, but have the same impression - fairly good value if you choose one of their higher-end saws.
If your budget allows, however, I wouldn't be too quick to discount cabinet saws altogether. The new Delta Unisaw, for example, has a number of excellent features, not the least of which is being able to keep the blade guard in place, and actually do work. The Unisaw blade guard drops into a slot in the riving knife, rather than being attached behind the saw, so it moves with the blade. If you avoid the "two-hundred foot rails" it isn't much larger than "intermediate" saws, and works well on a good mobile base. Plus, the precision of a good cabinet saw applies to small "home" projects, too.
1023 saw
I have their 1023 TS, got it just over a year ago. Very pleased with my purchase, I wish dust collection was better though.
I based it on my budget and consistent good reviews for the saw. If my budget allowed I would have gone for a sawstop professional.
The mobile base they sell for it works pretty well.
New TS
I too am a garage shop woodworker of moderate skills and I highly recommend the Sawstop PCS. The safety features were worth the extra dough to me, it is easily moved with the mobile base and I have the 54" rail.
