NH Woodworkers Show this weekend
Hi Folks,
Just a heads up that the 2nd Annual Woodworkers Show is this coming weekend, starting Friday thru Sunday, Nov. 9th – 11th. It’s at the armory in Manchester, NH.
I went last year and got some really good deals and hope to make it again this year.
Regards,

Bob, do they have a website?
I couldn't find a WEBsite. It's sponsored by Western Tool. They have a flier on their WEBsite but not much info., i.e. exhibitor list, etc. Folks from the NH Woodworkers Guild will be there as will most of the major tool makers, i.e. Delta, Bosch, Bessey, Dewalt, etc.

Bob. Is it worth the trip from southern NJ?

How have you been, I've been upstairs in breaktime for awhile.
Hi Lou,
I see you're still rasslin with the RAS decision! Best of luck in whatever you decide.
As for the trip up here, I would say yes, if you're in the market for several machines. They didn't have anything I would call exotic (perhaps not the right word) such as sliding tables, Euro machines, etc. Last year I spent way more than the CFO (wife) was expecting, but I came home with some quality iron very reasonable I thought.
I live in the boonies so getting good local deals is kinda outa the question for me. I like mingling with other woodworkers and sharing ideas, checking out the deals and meeting new folks.
The New Hampshire Woodworkers Guild will be there and I've been trying to get a local chapter going so it's a chance to meet with them too. I put an ad in the local paper several months ago and got 26 responses!
Most of the major machine makers are there and offer what I thought were good deals last year. Tom Silva from This Old House will be there Sat. if that's your schtick.
Last year there wasn't much in the way of high end hand tools, Lie Nielsen - LV, etc. Sure wish there was more as my hair is getting longer and thoughts of a beard........... Knuckle aren't dragging on the ground - yet!
Nice to hear from you again, hope all is well. Got any new pics of that fancy shop?
