I posted my first question a few days ago about my desire to find a users’s manual (or a copy) for an old lathe that I just bought. Eventhough it seems that everyone else gets many responses I received none. Did I do it right? Am I talking to myself?

Curt,
It may be that there wasn't anyone who could answer your question.
You could try http://www.oldwwmachines.com.

Thank you for your reply and concern.

Curt, I saw you message and was going to try and find the "oldmachines" web site for you, but was running on fumes (see post above to get that web site).
Only other suggestion would be to watch eBay for the identical lathe to come up for sale. If they describe a manual with their lathe, write and ask them if you can buy a copy of the manual. I've done this a couple times, and received a positive response.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thank you very much for your response. I will look at the old machine website.
