I am renewing my on-line membership with FW after being out for several years. What I enjoyed the most in the past was the forum, due to the vast numer of people adding post , both experienced and not so experienced. It appears that not as many are posting as in the past and this survey is to find out who is out there reading this on a regular basis. So, here goes.
What state , country, or region do you reside in?
How would you rate your skill level in woodworking?
1. Beginning hobbyist with a strong desire to improve.
2. Experienced hobbyist that uses joinery techniques as much as possible in their work.
3. Skilled individual trying to, or would like to, start a business involving fine woodworking.
4. Professional craftsman making, or trying to make a living in the business.
This is just for fun.

Unfortunately, a lot of bad things have occurred on the site in the past couple of years. The Fine Working staff and virtually ignored the problems and refused to fix them. The types of things that were happening was frequent and unfixed spam attacks. There were sign-on problems that prevented many from participating, and on and on.
I look in from time to time but most folks have given up and left.
Maybe some day FWW wiill make an effort to get the site working properly and encourage some of use to come back.
Too bad, but there are a number of other sites that are much better run and much more popular.
