   Strongbo1,

   Ya really need to get a project started....your starting to slip away...lol.  Might I suggest our new show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"..they deal with issues like the quality and variety of the wardrobe of straight guys as seen through the eyes of  gay guys....

   Wait a minute...I wear the same two or three shirts ever day.  Do you think that's a problem?

   Tony,

   Not me. Hell, I wear one shirt two or three days.  Usually I take my shirt off in the shop if its warm enough...not a pretty sight.

   Strongbo1 is English....and ya know how they are...lol

   For the office I have a variety of civilized clothes. For nights and weekends three shirts would last me years. That and one pair of jeans.

   I've lived in the motherland - that is, England - for a couple years but have to admit ignorance as to the meaning of "skids." The word "pants" I understand, and "queue," and others like them. I can even pronouce "aluminium" correctly and know that "Jaguar" has three syllables. But I don't recognize "skids." If I did, I'm sure I wouldn't be offended.

   What do you mean, an "American" accent? Everyone knows that people living in the Northeastern United States are the only people without an accent.

   I just love the American Accent.....

   I watched an English comedian last night who said " Americans need to understand we Englich don't have an accent....this is just what the words sound like when they are poperly pronounced"....love it...

   Are pronouned properly, maybe?

   Isn't "are poperly pronounced" a split infinitive?  And why does it matter if the speaker is Catholic, anyway?

   I'm sorry, where is the preposition that makes this an infinitive?  Unless you saying Catholics (Roman) don't require one...(popes orders)....lol

   Isn't "are pronounced" an infinitive?  Isn't adding "P(r)operly" in the middle of it splitting it?  Like the "to boldly go" business?

   Mind you, it's been a few years since I did any grammar.

   Tenpenny,

   (sigh)...'are' ain't no preposition..if I had said 'to' poperly pronounce then I would have split the infinitive...however, it is pronounced (past tense) and therefore blah, blah, blah

   I don't know grammer...but I married well....lol
