I am reusing some cabinet doors as faces attached to roll-out “trays” holding trash/recycling baskets and or kitchen utensil containers. I am trying to find red oak “plugs” in the 35mm diameter to place in the holes without much luck. If anyone has a source for such materials, please be kind enough to pass that information along.
I would also appreciate any suggestions regarding a technique to make such plugs if they are unavailable at retail.
Thanks in advance.

You could turn a tapered disc , glue it in and plane it off. You could also rout a slightly larger square at maybe 3/8" depth and glue in a patch to cover it up.
Check Rockler they carry a kit with two plugs in it that are either birch or maple, maybe they have it in oak. Also check Lee Valley they have large diameter plug cutters that might be in this size.
Metric hole saw.. you can buy a whole kit for cheap or for not cheap.. Amazon stuff..
It's a little tricky but I've done it with a drill press without the center bit or you can start with the center bit from the back then remove it or retract it so that the center bit doesn't protrude through the face. If you make your own you can match color and grain where even if you can find them pre-made there is no guarantee of that.
To all who extended the courtesy to reply, thank you. I did search Rockler, but sometimes the terms that one uses are not the terms associated with the item of interest. After revising my terms, I did find plugs at Rockler and Woodcraft.
