Am attending to Texas at the end of month and was wondering what you pay for Oak and any other common Hardwoods in Texas. May consider bringing some along to sell if it would be beneficial to all.

Oak (red & white) is very common throughout East Texas. I have bought it at 50 cents a foot (green, at the sawmill), and up from there. I wouldn't expect to get a premium price if I were you.

Suppliers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area sell white oak for $1.90 to $2.10 bf.
