I just finished the Dan Bollock’s article Hard Maple vs Soft Maple. This was an excellent addition to the magazine. I suggest FW does a piece on different wood species, domestic and exotics regularly. Not sure if the forum is monitored by the FW staff, but would like to get this feedback to the editor.

Ha ha ha, laughing at myself. Well I can report that life on earth still exists in 2924, but the FW issue did not recycle the maple wood article, guess you'll have to wait to see what FW comes up with them.
The ultrasonic saw article was excellent.
