My home has some kitchen cabinet pulls with center to center hole spacing that measures 9 and 3/4 inch. Is this some kind of oddball hardware? I have been searching for new pulls with this spacing and I’m finding nothing. I see plenty that are 10 inch but nothing that is 9 and 3/4. Am i missing something here?

You'll probably need to search somewhere other than the usual places. Look online at places like Richlieu or EB Bradley. Or just do a search of '9 3/4" drawer pulls".
Here are some on Amazon. It took about 20 seconds to find them.

I'm actually pretty handy with search engines and Amazon and things like that. When I stated in my post that I've been searching and I'm finding nothing, I meant it. The ones you mentioned on Amazon are 9 and 3/4 overall length, not hole spacing.
might it be 250mm?
Yah metric, my thinking as well but most of the metric pulls in that range have 256 mm spacing or 10 1/6". Who manufactured your cabinets? Some companies --- (ikea is famous for this )manufacture stuff that only their stuff can be used with.
You are probably going to have to what I tell many people with 3" pulls you will need to use a backplate to cover the hole and redrill at a common size.

250mm fixing centres is quite uncommon even in metric land so there is not as much choice. I'd recommend re-measuring with a metric rule as it's unlikely to be metric if it's not a round number of mm.
I have had good success with filling holes with epoxy putty and painting to match the door. On flat laminate, you can get a good paint colour match with the spectrometer in most hardware shops and though it is visible, it is not noticeable. On wood, with care, paint can make a patch invisible to all but the closest inspection.
