I have two finishes in my shop. Can’t decide on what would be best for a white oak desk top. The finishes do look really similar (back/top one is Odies). Has anyone know if one is better than the other for desktop use? I know the Arm R Seal has a urethane component to it but then I know Odies also has its advantages. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Top one is Odies
I prefer the look and feel of Odies, but for your application the Arm R Seal will provide more protection. Desks tops tend to need protection from spills and wear. The poly will do better at that.
Thanks Beasley
Hey,
3 parts mineral spirits, 2 parts oil-based poly, 1 part linseed oil.
