Highland Woodworking has a couple recipes in their "library section."
1/3 BLO, 1/3 spar varnish, 1/3 turps: made 'famous' by Garrett Hack. Look in the articles section for more information.
Once you've finished the piece with the above formulation, then wax with Fiddes, Mylands, etc.
Does anyone know the recipy of 100% food safe finish? I'm a newbie in this, so I need to be completely sure.
