Hi, everybody, my first post here.
Well, I had to sell my nice Ridgid contractor’s saw (needed $), but am about to acquire an old Craftsman saw, about 20-25 years old. Only thing it needs is a wheel to turn the angle adjustment; my buddy who’s giving it to me has been using vice-grips…
Any suggestions where I might find a replacement, whether OE or something else that might work? Thanks!

Chad, Sears has their parts cataloged on their web site, and you can order there. Try this link, wander around a bit:

Hi F_G
Hows the new Jet working out...................I finished my siding on my shop on Sat.morning,it was a good day.Still need to paint some but all and all the out side is done.Did a wee bit of partying on Sunday .Its allways fun to move on to a new project no matter how big or small. Take care RICK........
Hi Rick, congrats on getting the siding done! My saw's doing pretty good, having a little problem with ripping straight, Steve thinks the fence might be cracked, but I have a test to do before I'll believe it. Got my jointer this week! Waiting for a part that was missing, then can fire it up and go. Happy painting.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Hi F_G
In my Fathers shop we have a OLD Delta unisaw and a bolt on the back guide bar is bent causing the fence to drag on the top when setting. If this is not checked it will not cut very well at all.You have a Jet contractors saw dont you .I am not very sure how that one works. Some times its that little hex nut or loose bolt or wood wegged were its not supposed to be that is causing all the trouble..........Been there done that......................Good Luck Rick......................
Chad:
Sears current tool catalogue offers replacement adjustment wheels for table saws. You might just find that the shaft size is the same. Good luck.
Wes
Thanks to both of you! I'll check it out.

Well. Turns out I misremembered or something; the saw I'm going to be getting is not a Craftsman, but a ROCKWELL. The guy from whom I'm getting it has already done the research and the parts I'll need are available locally for about 50 bucks! Looks like I'm good to go.
I'm glad I got signed on here, at least. Thanks to everyone for your interest/suggestions!
