Hi. I’m brand new to this forum and I hope my message is relevant!
My step-grandfather in Seward Alaska was a contractor and he passed away in 1967. Since then, my family has kept some of the old Delta equipment left over from Grandpa Ray’s business (I wish my dad hadn’t sold the cast-iron planer with 3-foot wide blades but oh well . . .) otherwise we’ve kept a band saw, planer, a couple table saws, and a lathe. All are delta branded and were manufactured in the 1950’s or early 1960’s. These items still run although the planer trips the circuit breaker. Would this stuff be worth anything or should we just liquidate to the first takers? We especially don’t need 2 table saws and both work fine. Thanks for any thoughts.

From what I've heard, you've got some great equipment. An electrician can probably help you out on the circuit problem. Where are you? I could always use another well-made machine. Don't let any of this go without doing some research, as I believe you can get top dollar, plus make an avid woodworker float on cloud 9!
Go over to http://www.owm.com and post the same. This is the wrong site for vintage machines. Most here want new made in China equipment.

Many of us here would prefer the good old American or Canadian iron. But it would best be that you include the model numbers so that we can speak more accurately on a piece.Ron
Too bad you live so far away. From me that is. That old machinery is good stuff.
