I have been using a friends RAS on a parsonage building project and the switch died today. The saw is a Power Kraft model TCP2296A. All I need is the micro switch that goes inside the handle. Pics 3 and 4 are the switch. It is 1 7/8 long X 11/16 wide and the body is 5/8 tall plus the switching toggle on top. Photo 2 shows the handle the switch resides in.
If anyone has one of these or knows where I can get one I would be most grateful. I have also posted this request on OWWM.

Toolkraft made that saw...
Otherwise a good electrical supplier should have a comparable switch. Unlikely the switch was custom made. Should be an off the shelf equivalent made.
Thank you Rick. Good information. I called them and they are closed untill Nov 25th. We don't have what I would consider a good electrical suppler nearby anymore but will check with the ones that are in town. I did not know who manufactured the saw so thanks again for the leads.

ToolKraft was 5 miles from where I lived at the time.
Try electroncs places like Jameco.com Newark in One, Mouser Electronics
Even mcmaster carries a good selection of microswitches

The dimensions are about right for what is called a snap action switch but it is almost certainly a custom configuration, at least for the lever assembly on the top. Hopefully Toolkraft will still have one.
In the meantime you can try to blow dust out of the switch. Even if it is sealed, fine dust almost always makes its way into them over time and causes them to fail.
You can also try to take the switch apart. They typically aren't made to come apart, and they are often burned up beyond salvage, but it is worth trying.
Also make sure you have a switch problem, not a wiring or motor fault.

I pulled the switch apart and one of the contacts was burned off. It is a double pole switch and they ran the hot through one side and the neutral through the other, thus breaking both sides. I reassembled the switch without the contact on the neutral side and just joined the neutrals together with a wire nut. I ran only the hot wires to the switch on the side with a good contact. It now works fine although I do consider it just a temporary fix untill the place in Mass. opens back up on the 25th. You are correct that it is a snap action.
Thanks for the input.
