Hello
There is a jig that was used long ago, that people would sit on to
hold a piece of wood wthere it was to take the bark off the log or what ever
the person’s weight would be the force applied to a lever holding the log against a bar from this jig.
well I think it was called the ? I don’t know , But I’ve see it here and now I cannot find it, can you help me?

One of our authors, Brian Boggs, who is well known for making Ladder Back chairs in the Adirondack style, wrote an article describing how to build one. It's called a shaving horse.
