I promised my daughter I would build her a hall tree, the type so common 100 years ago, bench w/lid on bottom, and mirror in the back with coat hooks each side. these were found in the entry halls of homes back then. I can’t find any plans. Anyone out there who can direct me to the right location?

Hi Cornhusker,
If I recall correctly, that's one of the projects Norm Abram built on the New Yankee Workshop. If so, plans (and a video) are available:

jazzdogg,
You're correct.... http://www.newyankee.com/getproduct3.cgi?0103there goes your excuse for the mistake on the income tax...gee, I forgot!!
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much.
I think I might have some old notes & measurements for this one that I made for my sister in law. Contact me if you are interested--no charge, but not a fully measured drawing (but enough for a knowledgeable WWer to execute).
BTW, those are fake drawer fronts, the seat lifts for storage.
