I recently purchased a late 1940’s Oliver 285T shaper and would like to contact anyone who who has experience with this machine.   It has a 3hp single phase motor with a flat belt.  I have been able to find almost nothing on it (other than sales propaganda) and am most interested in information on oil usage, oil type and changing spindles.
