Can someone tell me how to wire up my omga miter saw.
there are 4 wires (black, Brown, Blue, yellow/green) and it looks like it was hard wired by last owner.
Pictures below show the 4 wires and the other picture shows the stats, like V 230/460
I have a 220 and 110 outlets in my Garage

3 Phase
You have bought a good saw, however it is three phase. There are two solutions, a static phase converter or a rotary phase converter, this will convert your 220 single phase existing power to 3 phase. The static phase converter is the least expensive and most convienent as it supplies power when you pull the trigger on your saw. You will pay a price in power though, as it will reduce the rated HP of your saw by 1/3rd, shouldn't be a problem for a chop saw unless you routinely cut heavy timbers.
The other route, the rotary converter is more expensive, you have to start it seperate, it looks and runs like a motor but with no external shaft. It does allow your equipment to run at full power and you can hook up multiple machines to it depending on it's rating.
Because your saw is dual voltage, you will also need to check the wiring connections or jumper settings in the motor junction box to verify it is wired for 230V and not 460.
You do not seem knowledgable regarding the electrics, so my recommendation is to purchase the converter from your local motor rewinding shop and let them advise you on the wiring of the saw and converter, or hire an electrician to handle it for you.
The Omga is a wonderful saw and well worth the effort.
Good Luck

Clarification
When I said wired for 230 volts, the saw is wired to operate on either voltage, however there are jumpers inside the junction box on the motor that should be checked and may have to be changed if the previous owner was using 430V. There is normally a diagram attached to the underside of the cover to show proper connections for each voltage.
The green/yellow is your ground, the other three wires connect to the 3 phases of your converter.
