I’m going to be doing a lot of built-ins at the customer location. What are you using to make a portable saw into a useful tool, when on-site?
I have a DeWalt, but it needs in-feed, out-feed tables, etc. to handle a sheet of plywood. Russeau, Trojan make expensive aftermarket systems for handling the plywood, but $250 to $400 seems a bit high…but if they work it might be worth the money.
Thanks for your help. —geoff

Geoff,
I'm no professional and all I have is the portable TS. I've given up trying to cut sheet goods on it..to dangerous, and at $50-60 dollars a sheet of birch, to expensive also. I made several templates with 1/4 ply and a straight edge..set up for my circular saw. With a good blade in the circular saw I get a fast, safe, quality results.
