Last summer I made a oak kitchen table with a inlay on top. I used yellow wood glue and the inlay is about 116 thick. My problem is part of the inlay bobbled. My thought is to drill a small hole and inject some glue with a syring. But what kind of glue, maybe an expoxy? I know my problem the first time was clamping pressure. Any advise would be very helpfull.
Thank you.

Could the 'bobble' have came at a place where the inlay is running cross-grain to the table grain? If so, them it might have been expansion/contraction that caused the problem.
Anyway you could take an exacto knife and trim out about 1/32" across the inlay??
Or, squeezing in some super glue might work then clamping for a few minutes.

I'd trying ironing down first, then the other suggestions.Use a slightly damp towel under the iron.
