"receive"?
Receive (as in a gift) or buy? I've never seen or used Bridgewood machines, but I believe they are/were made by Wilke Machinery, perhaps best known for their moulding planers. If these tools are a gift, there's an old saying not to look a gift tool in the (carbide) tooth. ;-) If buying used, the usual caveats would apply - check the design and condition closely.
The owner of the equipment died, and his wife has asked me to help her organize the shop in preparation for an auction. She told me I could pick any 1 of the tools and she would give it to me for my trouble. After seeing what tools were available I realized I would like to have several of them for my shop but want to give her a fair price for them. However, before making an offer I wanted my fellow FWW friends to tell me whether these machines are worthwhile or not. I have my own opinions about some, for example one thing available is a Central Machinery mortising tool, but being a Harbor Freight brand I do not have a very high regard for it so am not even interested.
